Join the WBA, BWF and others on October 25, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at the Suffolk University School of Law, 120 Tremont Street, Boston, for a screening of a powerful documentary on the portrayal of women in the media entitled Miss Representation, followed by a panel discussion addressing the film’s message.

Since its premiere at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival, screenings of the acclaimed film have been held all across the nation at various universities, businesses and the like, and the WBA is excited to be organizing the first Boston-based screening of this film. Panel discussion participants include Lisa van der Pool of the Boston Business Journal and Marjorie Clapprood, a former Massachusetts politician and television and radio talk show host. Join us on October 25th to see what the Miss Representation movement is all about!
Tickets are $5 for WBA members and members/volunteers of BWF, and $10 for all other members of the general public and can be purchased here.
Movie-themed refreshments, including popcorn and pizza, are included with the price of admission.
