Everyone is warmly welcome to come honor and celebrate ALL women and girls GENKI-style! Join us as we celebrate Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day with a variety show, featuring original spoken word pieces, dynamic song and dance, and of course, powerful taiko drumming.
To encourage creativity of all kinds, we will begin our show with a 30 min open mic open to all women and girls – so bring your creativity and sign up to share! Shy folks especially encouraged.
5:00 pm: doors open (open mic sign up, light refreshments provided)
6:00 – 6:30pm: Open Mic
6:30 – 8:00pm: Genki Show
6:30 – 8:00pm: Genki Show
Suggested donation: $5*- $30 – to be collected at the door (*suggested for students/low-income)
Proceeds will be used to benefit scholarships for women and girls and fund workshops with under-served and under-resourced populations.
Light refreshments will be provided.
Parking: Discounted $6 parking available with credit or debit card only (machines do not take cash) but encourage you to consider going green by carpooling or taking public transit.
